Aw, this makes me happy. East Oakland now has it's very own library branch! I'm almost never that far into the town except for A's games, so I had no idea that construction was even going on! There's a lot of unfortunate, shitty, situations in the east side of town, so I hope this brings some much needed optimism and opportunity into the neighborhood.
On a random note, sometimes I'm in a Grooveshark mood, sometimes I'm in a Pandora mood. Pandora has been winning lately -- perfect mix of Grizzly Bear, Dr. Dog, Animal Collective, and then! the smoothest transition into grime and more upbeat stuff (thanks to 'Get By' by Dizzee Rascal). Makes drafting this paper for peer-review so much more fun.
