LOVE BITES

Does anyone else think this incident is a little too eerily similar to "The World According to Garp?" People have affairs and being punished for it by having their privates chopped off in the worst possible way. Gentlemen, protect your privates. Ladies... well. That'll teach you I suppose.

In other news, Claire has deserted me for... Wis-con-sin! ... for the next two weeks which means I miss her already. At least material things will keep me occupied, like my Burger King Star Trek Captain Kirk cup... and just to let you know how dedicated I am to Star Trek and cute boys, I actually went to this BK twice because I got a Nero cup first and I asked them when their new shipment of cups was coming in and went back the next day to exchange it. Yes. I did that.

Claire and I also celebrated before she left, eating this homemade galette courtesy of smittenkitchen.com (my pictures came out ugly) and red rasperry wine courtesy of Chateau Renaissance. You can find them at Union Square farmer's market every Wednesday. It was a bit too syrupy but I bet it would have tasted really good with some club soda.
