In my last post I spoke of a book about muses that left an impression on me, yet I cannot recall the title. This seems to happen quite a bit. Two in particular:
1. A book report book back in maybe 4th grade. It was about a boy who enters the 5th and 6th dimension, and has to fight these monster robots that were not really visible to his human eye, until he BELIEVED. It was very good, very Ender's Game-esque. Could not find it ever since.
2. Back in my Borders bookseller days, I borrowed a book ('cause we could do that, like a library - the best perk I could ever ask for) about a man who visits a 3-star Michelin restaurant in France, eats a 15-course meal, and lives to write about it, beautifully. My manager Tim said, "Why would you read a book that only spans across the course of one meal?" "It was lovely," I said.
The week crawls,
Claire
