Tonight, I was rather moved by the movie Capote. Looks like I have to use some of my Borders Rewards leftover from the holidays on In Cold Blood, by Truman Capote. I am so, so intrigued. The epilogue of the movie said that he never finished another book, that he was so affected by the people he met and became involved with on this Clutters case (in which the nonfiction novel is based by), and that he eventually passed due to complications with alcoholism. I want to see exactly how he became "the most famous American novelist" and "changed the way people write." The anxiety!
I know I've enjoyed a movie when I press "play all" for all the special features. For books, it's finishing it and hugging it to my chest and reopening the cover to remember how the magic all started.
