MY READING SPOT

Where I've been reading lately. My backyard! I read under this huge tree that Ender likes to piss on. It smells wonderful. And that's doggy shampoo on the table. And Faulkner. See how the wicker chair has no cushion for your butt? I believe Ender peed on those, so now we just sit in pain. (It's actually not that bad.)

Another thing about California summers: in season fruits!! We have several apple trees in the backyard, as well as a pear tree. Ender goes sniffing for low hanging fruits (heh) and eats them. I think he's eaten half the pears off our young pear tree! Here he is enjoying a granny smith apple:
