PERFECT PAIRINGS

These cranberry scones are perfect for pairing with English lit in the daytime. I ate two this morning with some tea and read "On Beauty."
Recipe is as follows:
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup dried cranberries (soaked in a bit of water to rehydrate)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
3/4 cup milk (nonfat okay)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt
1/4/ cup diced butter @ room temp

oven @ 375 degrees. mix wet ingredients together. then pour into dry. bake for around 10-12 minutes, or whenever you smell cranberry goodness.

currently listening to:
The Narrow Path
Blu & Exile (haha, in case you didn't notice, Blu is all I've been listening to lately)

They're not bad as a snack while internship/job hunting either.
