Because I work with first graders, I get to peek into their bookbags -- and their teacher's bookshelves -- quite often. So I was incredibly excited to see that my babies were reading "Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters" and watching the Reading Rainbow episode that goes along with it this afternoon. I mean, I saw the same. exact. episode. when I was in first grade. Damn. LeVar Burton must be a hero to several generation of elementary school kids. Too bad Reading Rainbow is no longer on the air... but I am glad to see it is still alive in the public school system :)
currently listening to:
Falling Man
Blonde Redhead
... I'll see you next time,

reading rainbow! i loved it so much. it was nice for those of us who were too shy to like reading out loud. i wonder what happened to that random star trek guy. maybe we will only know once we cross the rainbow.
i'm both reading this and commenting!
and what's up with this random music you are listening to?
